Project: San Francisco Destination Wedding Invite. Kristin + Scott’s wedding invites turned out fabulously. I’m so excited about my new friend at Mary Speaker Letterpress (Patrick Masterson), who perfectly hand crafted these invites on his press.

Project: Clarus Consulting asked me to design a recipe book as a Christmas Gift for their clients. Clarus is known for their love of food.  They are also known for bringing people together to create solutions.  Good solutions require good thinking which requires…good food. I loved the idea! The talented and creative employees at Clarus collected their favorite family recipes for a unique and thoughtful Christmas gift. They were able to share their love of cooking while inspiring their clients to gather around the table and share ideas. The cookbook was 24 pages of deliciousness. Project: Regional best-seller David H. White asked me to design a cover for his forth book, A Stroke of Genius.  A Stroke of Genius is the tale of an extraordinarily talented young golfer, and is a perfect read for any golf fan. I designed the bookcover as well as promotional collateral for his book signings. Look for David’s commercials on ESPN.

Project: Regional best-seller David H. White wanted a website that showcased his books, his blog, twitter feed, press releases and press kits. The talented Ryan Roenigk (web development and general “I can figure anything out” guru) and I developed a site for David that promotes his books and his branding through social media. David’s blog and twitter feeds are featured on the home page. The twitter bird changes depending on the sport-hashtag featured in his tweet (Ryan rocks).

I also designed the bookcover for David’s newest release, A Sroke of Genius.

Project: FilStaffing (a creative staffing agency) asked me to design a social networking site dedicated to motivating people to act on a desire for better living and total wellness. Zackery Moore, Ryan Roenigk and I collaborated to create a site that connected with experts and peers driven by common interests, shared experiences and mutual questions.  Anyone can create a profile and join in the online community of sharing healthy ideas. LemakHealth.com is built on BuddyPress and sports a completely custom design created by myself and Paul Halupka.

This niche social networking site gives athletes, patients, or anyone interested in health related topics a chance to share information, read articles from experts, as well as engage each other using profiles, messaging, groups, forums, and blogging.

Project: Design some killer stationary for David White. These business cards and notecards are letter pressed and duplexed. (HOT) Letterpress super hero, Patrick Masterson, did a beautiful job.

Project: Iron Tribe Fitness is a Birmingham based training facility that employs CrossFit as a tool in developing true athletes. Iron Tribe is truly a unique atmosphere of pure adrenaline, competition, encouragement and triumph. ITF hired Whitespace Studio to handle their branding project from the ground up. Anna Reynolds (visionary and project manager extraordinaire) at Whitespace Studio did an amazing job developing a brand identity, apparel, interior and space design, signage and so much more. Anna hired me to help with the branding efforts as well as managing and designing the website project.

I proposed a private social network using wordpress MU and buddypress to create an online community for ITF, the staff, and their athletes. IronTribeFitness.com uses social media interactions (twitter, facebook, blogging, profiles, forums, and more) to build an online community for their “tribe”.  Athletes can post photos, videos, blogs, and recipes as well as have a personal presence on the site with a profile, wall, messaging, groups, and forums. Ryan Roenigk (all-knowing wordpress developer and problem solver), Paul Halupka (designer co-pilot) and I designed custom features such as “Challenges” and “High Fives”.   The tribe looks forward to the WOD (Work Out of the Day”) and weekly recipe postings by the founder, Forrest Walden and his wife, Mendy.

Iron Tribe Fitness launched on February 16, 2010 and within 2 days had over 1000 unique visitors. Less than 6 months from their grand opening, IronTribe is almost at full capacity.

Project: Invitation and Registration Packet for 2009 Alumni Reunion Weekend for Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Project: Wedding Invitation

I designed this colorful invite for one of my favorite clients.  The invitation and rsvp card rest inside a custom enclosure. The pink, green, and yellow beautiful capture the spirit and fun-loving personality of the bride and groom. Happy Wedding!

Project: Logo, CD, press pack and business stationary for composer and professor, Charles Norman Mason

Charles Norman Mason is a talented composer and professor at Birmingham Southern College (my alma mater!). Mason’s music has been performed throughout the world including the Aspen Summer Music Festival, Foro Internacional de Música Nueva in Mexico, and new music festivals in Prague, Bucharest, Bulgaria, and Sao Paulo. He won the 2005-2006 Samuel Barber Rome Prize Fellowship in composition and the 2009 American Composers Orchestra “Playing it Unsafe” prize.

We splurged on the CD printing and used 100% recycled Neenah Environment 120# paper to construct the CD cases. Stumptown Printer’s handled the print and production for us. You can see a glimpse of Mason’s cd on their site here.
