Kristin+Scott: Wedding Invites
Project: Destination Wedding Invites, envelopes, and RSVP postcards. Kristin + Scott were so fun to work with! Kristin has impeccable taste and a love for purple. The wedding invites turned out fabulously. Speaking of letterpress, I’m so excited about my new friend at Mary Speaker Letterpress (Patrick Masterson), who perfectly hand crafted these invites. Thanks!
Kristin + Scott’s save the dates were equally fun! We took a DIY approach and Kristin ended up hand stitching all her invitees routes across a map of the US… (blog post here)
Thoughts from Kristin:
“When I got married, I became that bride, the one who cares about minor details like vintage postage on save-the-dates and the font on the envelopes. Needless to say, I wanted my invitations to be perfect. I searched every stationary store and bridal magazine in existence and never found exactly what I was looking for. So I turned to Kelly. Previously, Kelly had designed a website for me, and absolutely wowed me with the end result, so I knew she’d do a great job. Lo and behold, the outcome was better than anything I could have wished for. She came up with the most creative save-the-date, in which I sewed the route each guest would take on a cute map she designed and, later, an invitation package that blew even the save-the-date out of the water and which many of the guests claimed was by far the best wedding invite they’d ever received. She’s so creative, efficient and easy to work with–two enthusiastic thumbs up for Kelly.”
