Gabriel Kelly & the Reins, CD design

Project: CD and packaging design for alternative folk band, Gabriel Kelley & the Reins, based out of Nashville, TN.  You can catch some of Gabriel’s music on myspace.

This “Light at the Bottom” cd case is made from 100% recycled cardboard and printed with semi-opaque white ink* (!). The logo (created by Paul Halupka) is letterpressed onto the white ink texture.

*For all you design nerds: YES, white ink! I was giddy when I found this company based out of Oregan. Stumptownprinters.com
